The Power of Prayer

We find ourselves in the middle of the month already! Kids and families are settling

back into routines and setting new schedules. As the weather offers us some changes,

we have the opportunity to take a deep breath and consider what we will offer our time

to this fall.

What will we prioritize? There are only 24 hours in each day.

What will we allow to fill our days to and what will we choose to release? How will we

juggle all of our responsibilities and still have some quality time to incorporate the

things that bring us joy?

These are valid questions to consider. Our conclusions can hold outcomes that will

affect not only the days and weeks ahead but they can hold realities that affect the

future for many years. The apostle Paul reminds as followers of Jesus, that we need to

live as citizens of heaven. Our eyes and ears tuned into the ways and words of Jesus.

As you set your priorities this fall, where is Jesus in your decision making? How do you

invite Jesus into your plans? Do you allow space for Jesus to change your plans?
