Sometimes you don’t know why but God does

This year, something surprisingly different happened with our “Big Give “ Kids / Teen clothing collection—we received far more girls’ clothing than in past years. It wasn’t just “a donation drive,” it felt like God moving through ordinary hearts in a very specific way.

After hearing the report of the event it clearly felt like someone felt prompted to clean out their kids’ closet, and because of that, a little girl was able to recover her entire wardrobe after an apartment fire this spring. The timing was God’s and the need was real.

It reminded us that this is still the same God at work providing in our town, through His care, through His prompts, and through the way He brings help right when it’s needed.
