CHRISTMAS 2024:
Unexpected Gifts
Blue Christmas
A “Blue Christmas” is an event that offers sacred space for anyone experiencing grief, loneliness, sadness, or relational strife during the holiday season. All are welcome to join us at 7pm on Tu, Dec 17th in the sanctuary for this contemplative time of seeking the hope, love, joy, and peace of Jesus in times of great need.
Kids Christmas Eve Choir
We are excited to have some of our C*Road Kids (Grades 1-6) invovled in our Christmas Even services this year. If you would like to have your child involved, please contact Bonny Frizzell or meet the kids in THE LOFT after Sunday services (11:30am) from Nov 10 - Dec 22nd as they rehearse the song “Born is the King” to be performed at our 5pm and 7pm Christmas services.
The Big Give: Christmas Eve offering recipient
Each year, C*Road take an offering during our Christmas Eve services to support local non-profits and organizations that are looking to make a difference in our culture and region in various ways. This year, we’re delighted to take up an offering for the Alzheimer’s Society and specifically give toward an initiative they have to purchase GPS-wristbands for those suffering with dementia.
You may give in a variety of ways and ask that you designate any financial gifts towards this cause by labelling it “Christmas Eve Offering”.
